the so-called love

(an exercise from a school textbook and tried to do it! "write down your thoughts about the greatest emotion called love. use the freewriting technique. just let your ideas flow, and do not hold back your thoughts.")

love. it is such a powerful and influential word in a sense that anyone, for sure, can vividly remember their own stories behind this four-lettered word. it has been mainstream ever since. it has different kinds and is often considered as one's steering wheel as it maneuvers you over until you become someone you never thought you could ever be. family love, love for friends, and of course, the love for God. there's so much more to mention, but the most well-known--a love for someone, a special someone who will eventually become your partner for the rest of your life. that special someone of yours can even form a family with you, through the love you share, and by the heavenly will of the Lord.

that's too dreamy, isn't it? make-believe, pie in the sky. but what I adore the most about love is that it never forgets. let me tell you a story. there's this woman, who conceived and was a boy. she carried him and took care of him inside her womb for nine months. she eats healthy foods and even her daily drinking of vitamins never faltered. everyone was excited, the whole family was looking forward to it. until finally, she was having her labor. they brought her to the hospital and apparently, she can't have a normal birth. she underwent through caesarian, and believe me, it was really hard. but she never complained, never once showed the pain she was feeling. she endured it--because all that matters for her, was her son.

to make the long story short, her child was diagnosed with heart disease and had to go through an operation. her baby wasn't able to bear it any longer though. it failed.

it has been nine days since He took knoa gabriel from us. until now, we couldn't believe it, and we're still mourning. however, we aren't raged for we know he is now an angel guiding her mother--who is my aunt--from afar.

she is still in the process of healing. it will be hard for her, and certainly will take time, very long at that, but that is the refinement of every progress. it is cruel and feels like neverending suffering, but the following days are a blessing to consider. one wound at a time, it will eventually heal.

the love that can move forward, but never forgets. the love that i love the most, the warm, tender care and deep affection of the one you're primarily and utmost connected with, the love that has existed, apart from everything else, above anyone else, even before you were born--a mother's love.

Actions and words are louder together

Situation A:

One that speaks.
He who promises.
and he who confesses.
One who's simply a living language.
Talks a lot. Commits a lot.
And fails to keep it, a lot.

Situation B:

One that acts.
He who carries out.
and he who behaves.
One who's simply a cat in a human form.
More on the action. More on the exertion.
And breeds... more question.

What's worse?

Ask me and I'll answer: they're the same.
And equally, they share downsides.

Words convey a message--they instruct, they clarify, they confirm--whereas performing the action is what completes a task. For instance, in a book, the words serve as 'prequel', actions stand as 'sequel'. Both are significant ingredients to establish a great foundation for a story.

The only reason behind the popular phrase, "action speaks louder than words" is the fact that carrying out and taking action brings the destination closer.

Hence, actions aren't enough.
So as words.

Actions initiate confusion.
Without words, they're vague and wavering.

Words, however, are merely sounds uttered by the tongue.
The action is what puts the meaning into the words said.

To say something and to do something are two different things. Thus, be a man of your words. Take these two vital elements with you--proper communication through spoken words and timely performance of the required action--and together, they'll make a difference.

"The superior man acts before he speaks, and afterward speaks according to his actions." - Confucius

Chases and burns

run after something that has a foregone conclusion

decide in a cognitive state

that you will not chase

for something

or someone

who is not worthy of your energy

not all fires are dangerous

but your hands are still bare

security and guarantee

that you won’t burn

once you place your scrape

in the fires of emotion

it was once your potential destruction

but it’s no longer a fear but a free

no more restrains, no longer have to daunt

accurate chases and suited burns.

when the time is right,

everything will fall into its proper place

A part for a heart

how can I say it’s real

how do I figure out it’s genuine

when i’m pretty certain

my whole ideate to you

is not even half of me

you picture me out as somebody

who fits your definitive criteria

I know my capacity

as well as my worth

and it’s not destined

for you who just acknowledge

a gnomish part of me

Preference matters

Make someone happy. They say, "Simple things make big difference," it's true. We might not notice it, and we might not direct...
