love. it is such a powerful and influential word in a sense that anyone, for sure, can vividly remember their own stories behind this four-lettered word. it has been mainstream ever since. it has different kinds and is often considered as one's steering wheel as it maneuvers you over until you become someone you never thought you could ever be. family love, love for friends, and of course, the love for God. there's so much more to mention, but the most well-known--a love for someone, a special someone who will eventually become your partner for the rest of your life. that special someone of yours can even form a family with you, through the love you share, and by the heavenly will of the Lord.
that's too dreamy, isn't it? make-believe, pie in the sky. but what I adore the most about love is that it never forgets. let me tell you a story. there's this woman, who conceived and was a boy. she carried him and took care of him inside her womb for nine months. she eats healthy foods and even her daily drinking of vitamins never faltered. everyone was excited, the whole family was looking forward to it. until finally, she was having her labor. they brought her to the hospital and apparently, she can't have a normal birth. she underwent through caesarian, and believe me, it was really hard. but she never complained, never once showed the pain she was feeling. she endured it--because all that matters for her, was her son.
to make the long story short, her child was diagnosed with heart disease and had to go through an operation. her baby wasn't able to bear it any longer though. it failed.
it has been nine days since He took knoa gabriel from us. until now, we couldn't believe it, and we're still mourning. however, we aren't raged for we know he is now an angel guiding her mother--who is my aunt--from afar.
she is still in the process of healing. it will be hard for her, and certainly will take time, very long at that, but that is the refinement of every progress. it is cruel and feels like neverending suffering, but the following days are a blessing to consider. one wound at a time, it will eventually heal.
the love that can move forward, but never forgets. the love that i love the most, the warm, tender care and deep affection of the one you're primarily and utmost connected with, the love that has existed, apart from everything else, above anyone else, even before you were born--a mother's love.
